Last updated: September 30, 2026

This policy explains what information TransitDojo (transitdojo.com) collects when you visit this site and how it is used.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this site. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Google and other third parties may also use technologies such as cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers in connection with advertising, subject to applicable law and consent requirements.

What we collect

TransitDojo has no user accounts or newsletters. We collect information only in the two cases below.

Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location (city or country level), and your device and browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We use this information only in aggregate to improve our guides. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics data is collected.

Contact form. If you contact us through our contact form, which runs on Google Forms, we receive what you enter, such as your email address and message. We use it only to reply to you and do not share it with anyone else.

Cookies and local storage

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets the following cookies:

Your accept or decline choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page. It is never sent to us or to Google.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you decline after accepting, we stop sending analytics data and delete the Google Analytics cookies.

Google

Google processes analytics data and contact form responses on our behalf, and this data may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country, including in the United States. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Data retention

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Contact form responses are kept only as long as we need them to handle your inquiry.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. For analytics, the simplest way to exercise these rights is to decline analytics cookies or clear your browser's cookies. For any other request, use our contact form.
